Gateway to Hope KaleidoHope Gala, October 1, 2016

ST. LOUIS (July 12, 2016) — The voices of Jane Roodman Weiss and Christine Lyss are the first heard on the phone by breast cancer patients seeking answers at the Gateway to Hope Lifeline. Nearly 1,000 patients later, the two registered nurse managers will be recognized as the 2016 Gateway to Hope Visionary Award recipients at the seventh annual KaleidoHope Gala on Sat., Oct. 1 at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel. The date also is recognized as the official start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

All proceeds from KaleidoHope will benefit Missouri women currently being treated for breast cancer who are underinsured or lack financial resources through Gateway to Hope’s innovative programming. The event is scheduled from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. and includes a seated dinner, silent and live auctions, unique interactive entertainment, and more.

Courtney Bryant of KMOV-TV will emcee the event, with Rene Knott of KSDK-TV serving as auctioneer. Event sponsors include Centene Charitable Foundation, The Chod Family Foundation, and Ameren.
